Thank you for visiting our website! My name is Steven Jordan and the beautiful woman with me in the photo is my wife Midori.

Although photography is not my day job, it is a passion of mine. I have spent a great deal of time trying to learn the technical aspects as well as trying to develop my eye for the art. It is a labor of love.

I also really enjoy the outdoors and traveling, which compliments my love of photography. I’m forced out into the wilderness early in the morning to catch the first light, but I’m also left with the magnificent scenery that I can enjoy in solitude. While traveling, I have noticed that I see so many more details than I used to. I now see the world through the eyes of a photographer. I also find that I want to capture photos that tell a story and can be shared with others.

I am a self-learned photographer, which really is a misnomer. Over the years I have read many books and magazines, visited many message boards, and have studied many great photographs. In other words, I have learned from many people.
